Lisbon, February 6, 2019 - In 2019, Bee Engineering strengthens its position as an international consultancy company in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The investment in resources in this specific areas aims to double the financial return on projects in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Nearshore, both of global reach. Last year, 10% of the company revenue came from services provided to clients and partners from France, UK and Ireland in sectors such as Government, Governance, Mobile, Fintech and Logistics, involving 60 employees.
The area coordinated by Diogo Mendonça, Operations Director of Bee Engineering, reinforced its business development team in 2019, integrating new managers focused on international growth. It benefits from the strong investment of the company in R&D and Training, from its reinforcement of structure made at the end of 2018 and from offices at its disposal dedicated in Portugal and in the Netherlands. The objective of doubling the financial return of the international services in 2019 follows in parallel with the goal of ensuring new talents in the geographies served and reaching new sectors of activity as well, with an experienced and capable team to develop the business in technology, procedural and organizational.
The international dimension is at the heart of the Bee Engineering brand. Founded in France in 2010 in the scope of Engineering, it starts the activity of ICT in 2013 in Lisbon, diversifying services and its reach. Currently, there are eight offices in Europe, three of them - Lisbon, Oporto and Amsterdam - in the ICT sector and managed from Portugal.
According to Diogo Mendonça, Operations Director of Bee Engineering and responsible for international expansion: "it is our ambition to be the technological arm of organizations of all sizes and sectors, regardless of their location. This year will be of bet in the EMEA market. We want to double the billing, benefiting from the investment and reinforcement carried out in 2018. "
Bee Engineering opened a new headquarters in Lisbon recently to accelerate its expansion in 2019. The facilities include individual spaces for the different supply lines, units and departments, as well as rooms for specific areas such as Nearshore and GameLAB. The commitment to international growth converges with this investment.
