The Games for Good 2019 game jam ran from 5th to 7th April at Universidade Europeia, Lisbon, with great success. Bee Engineering, through its GameLAB, participated in its organization. André Santos, Product Manager, followed the event and was on stage in the final session for the delivery of the second prize of the Pro Line.
The game jam that helps Corporate Social Responsibility organizations, was attended by 130 people, divided between Pro Line, Junior Line and staff.
The event supported the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, Corações com Coroa association, the Portuguese Association against Childhood Obesity, with the creation of games that can be played in this link.
For Bee Engineering CEO José Leal e Silva, "the results achieved in the 3rd edition of Games for Good are excellent. When we joined the IADE in 2017, our goal was to create an event where video games became a vehicle to help social issues that impact in our daily lives. Today we can say that we did it. The quality of the projects, the participation and the results have been getting better from year to year."
